Adding transmission fluid

Add transmission fluid to the same tube you check the transmission fluid level. It will resemble the oil dipstick tube, only it's a larger tube that will accommodate a funnel to add additional fluid. It's important not to overfill the recommended level so try adding 1/2 quart at a time until the level is withing the markings on the transmission fluid dipstick.

My friend bought me a hyundai egg cooker(plu 247959) but the instructions only tell you how to soft boil 2 eggs or hard boil 3! and no instructions of other amounts of eggs or how much water to use or how...

Ignore the instruction manual. Instead look at the measuring cup that comes with your Hyundai PLU 247959 (produced and sold under license by Poundstretcher).
On the side of the measuring cup, you can see three clusters of marks:1. 25 to 40 ml for soft-boiled eggs (symbol of egg with two horizontal lines)2. 45 to 60 ml for medium boiled eggs (symbol of egg with one horizontal line)3. 65 to 80 ml for hard boiled eggs (symbol of egg)
Egg boilers are based on the principle that the larger the volume to be heated is, the less water is required. In other words, you will need to add less water for boiling seven eggs, and more water for boiling one or two eggs.
Which means that for seven eggs to soft boil, add 25 ml; and for one egg to soft boil, add 40 ml. If you look at the markings, you'll notice that on the vertical line between 40 and 25 ml, there are seven equidistant horizontal lines, each showing the amount of water required for the various quantities of eggs.
One egg = fill with water up to the 40 ml markTwo eggs = fill up to the mark below the 40 ml markThree eggs = fill up to the second mark below the 40 ml markFour eggs = fill up to the third mark below the 40 ml mark etc, untilSeven eggs = fill up to the 25 ml mark
Medium boiled and hard boiled eggs are measured in similar ways. Works every time for me. Nice little egg boiler, by the way.

Where do I add transmission fluid?? I see the fluid level stick but no cover for a reservior. I can't find any help online and the manual has no diagram of where things should be.

You fill your transmission fluid through the dipstick tube. Be sure to check the existing transmission fluid while the vehicle is running in park after it has reached its peak operating temperature. You will notice two marks on the dipstick the bottom is a cold mark and the upper is a hot mark. If you need to add fluid be sure to use dexron mercon 3 atf and add the fluid in small increments to avoid overfilling and damaging transmission. When adding fluid add 1/4 of a quart at a time with your parking brake on and foot on the brake shift it through all ranges 2 or 3 times and check fluid again and add more fluid and repeat this step until full

Checking oil and transmission levels

you will check the oil with then engine off. Pull the oil dipstick (yellow one) and wipe clean. Reinsert the dipstick and pull out. The oil level should be in the hash marks. If the level is below the hash marks than start by adding one quart and recheck. One quart will change the oil level from the bottom of the hash marks to the top of the hash marks.

The transmission fluid needs to be checked with the engine running. Preferably warmed up to operating temperature. With your foot on the brake engage the transmission through all the gears and then back into park. With the engine still running remove the transmission dipstick (red one) and wipe clean. Reinsert the dipstick and pull out. The fluid level should be in btween the hot marks. If it is low start by adding 1/2 quart at a time through the transmission dipstick tube. You will need a funnel small enough to fit in the tube to do this. It will take a while for the fluid to drain out of the tube. Recheck check the fluid level and continue adding in 1/2 quart increments until the level is in between the hot marks.

1995 Chevy Astro Van transmission fluid level? How many quarts should be in there with a 4.3 engine?

From a totally dry condition with Torque Converter empty the book indicates 4 Quarts. The best way to check is to add 1 pint if you are at the low marks with the engine warm and idling in Park. If you have drained the Transmission to change the filter, start by adding a quart and then check level and add a pint then check level, continue the process of adding fluid a pint at a time and checking level until you get the level to a place between the marks. Drive the vehicle for a few blocks, check and add fluid as needed.

When I checked my oil it was under the hole closest to the tip does this mean I need oil? and how do I know it's full/ how many quarts of oil does my car take? 2005 civic si 2.0

Start by adding 1/2 quart. Recheck the level. If it is now half way between the two marks than add the rest of the quart. The oil level should always be in between the two marks on the dipstick and close to the top mark.
