I'll really advise you to perform a FDR on the bluetooth. You will need to Press and hold the Call button while turning on the headset to turn on Reset to factory default. Follow the voice prompts to make changes to the settings.

Try using a Jabra bluetooth.... Go to newegg.com and get the Jabra for twenty-four dollars.... I was having the same problem and this bluetooth saved the day......

If you're using a Motorola RAZR V3, the problem is the cell phone. Also check the volume buttons on H700 that sometimes it goes the volume all the way down. It is a common unnoticed situation.
