We have a Duo Therm air conditioner that leaks inside the coach. Assuming this is a drain hose issue but unable to find drain hose. Where is it located?

After using air conditioner for a couple of days we traveled down road and it began to rain inside. I am assuming this is a drain hose problem but where is the drain hose on the air conditioner end?

SOURCE: Location of Drain holes on Duo-Therm Model 630035.321

Good place to start is up on the roof. Look way under the unit (hard to see some times) along the bottom, between where the gasket sits on the roof and metal bottom of unit. Should see small round or similar sticking down from unit. There will be a hole in the side of them. Poke around with a wire or something to open them up. If you don't see water/condensation running across your roof from unit when it's operating, (usually in 2 directions, 1 each side of unit) then yup, there plugged.

Either your 14"x14" a/c gasket is lose on the roof allowing the condensation to flow into your RV or you have a cracked condensation tray under the evaporator. I'm guessing the later

SOURCE: rv air conditioner leaking

I have the same problem....it is a negative pressure problem holding water inside the unit until it overflows the pan and runs into the duct system. why this occurs....I don't know....I cant find a problem with my air return, but as soon as you turn in off, the water comes gushing out the drains on the unit. I resolved this....temporarily....by twisting up a paper towel into a wick, and placing one end up into the drain tray, with the other end lying well out into the exterior case. This lets the water wick out and keeps the tray drained. I don't understand the problem and don't know what the permanent fix will be, except maybe cutting a hole and placing an intake vent directly below the unit.

Google dometic rooftop air conditioning parts!Wouldnt suggest using off brand parts maybe diffrent?if that one is set up for 12v also maybe deffinatley diffrent!!!Try cleaning condensor aluminum fins on roof top if condensor is dirty will throw whole system out of whack!!!use oven cleaner and hose with nozzle be careful not to bend fins throughly rinse off cleaner after soak period spray off completly off roof and sides quickly!!!!!may damage decals etc!!! anyhow try that before replacing parts then use factory or alike parts!!!Good Luck!!!

How do I stop my Domestic Duo Therm AC from leaking inside?

as all ac units produce water when operating, there will be a drain hole and tube to the outside of the unit
possibly under the cover or lining
it will be at one end of the drain pan and you may have to use a bit of wire to push out the gunk and dust that will be blocking the hose
other than that take it to a caravan shop and have the technicians clean out the hose for you

RV AC is working fine, but the water is leaking from the ceiling Where is the drain tube on the unit, The AC unit is a roof type, Duo Therm serial # 43404934, Part # 3105459

Normally, the condensate will drain out of the unit onto the roof and off the edge to the ground. Remove your cover inside (probably 2 screws) and tighten the 4 bolts you will find inside. If they are tight, go to your RV supply place and get new roof gasket. Remove the AC and insert the new gasket and resecure the AC to your roof.

I have a jayco pop up camper with a Duo-Therm BriskAir roof top a/c. im having problem with it leaking water inside of the camper? Is there a drain hose? Or wat do u think is wrong? Thanks

Yes there are drain holes in base of upper unit (on roof), which may be plugged. Couple of questions though to see if we can better troubleshoot this for you.
-Do you remember seeing water (condensation) running off roof before when AC was used?
-Have you cleaned filter inside at ceiling lately?

The Duo-Therm AC in the motorhome has started leaking from the inside after approx. 1/2 hour of use. What could be the problem?

More than likely water is pooling on top of the rv and leaking thru a crack next to the unit. The other problem would be the drain hole is plugged you will have to remove the top to ck. good luck

Location of reset switch

The only reset switch on the air conditioners if the actual 120Volt Circuit Breaker located in your coaches breaker panel. Locations vary depending on unit type. If that does not work, you have other issues.

Dou Therm Brisk Air not running

Turn the ac off go up top the coach and remove the cover. Look for fan blockage, Wasp, mud dauber etc. Caution if it is wasps they will chase you off the end of your coach. Take some spray with you. If there is no blockage the fan motor is toast.
