Integra 7.8 display bad

There is a known issue with a bad resistor in the display board. Which resistor is at fault? If I know which resistor and what value it is I can replace it myself.

The bad resistor is on the ps board that drives the display, well on mine at least. The resistor is supposed to be 10 ohms at 1/8 watt "i think" i replaced it with a 1/2 watt resistor. Either way its R9310. the board is right behind the display on the right side just behind the volume knob. when open and looking from the back you see it just fine. it's not hard to get out. fairly simple to fix. integra 7.8 display bad - integra-7-8-display-bad-otccdugj0mk41z1tpuysbqy4-5-0.jpg

Aiwa CXZM2600 no sound. Speaker module OK.

There are several common faults that can cause a lack of sound on the Aiwa CXZM2600 front panel circuit board:
  1. Damaged components (e.g. capacitors, resistors)
  2. Loose connections
  3. Badly soldered joints
  4. Blown fuses
  5. Failed audio amplifier IC It's recommended to check these potential issues and to have an experienced technician diagnose and repair the fault.

The treadmill have dcmd67 control board I need to know what value resistor R 19 have

I can't help you (directly) with the resistor value, but be aware that if it exploded, there is probably another bad component (such as a capacitor, transistor, and/or an SCR). Replacing only the resistor may result in the same problem, or may not even work at all due to another bad component. If you do find out the value, try putting in a resistor of the same value, but with a higher wattage rating. I once had a washing machine in which the model had a known problem with circuit boards blowing. I solved it by replacing a bad transistor and installing a higher wattage resistor that had blown up like yours. It never failed again. The way I found the value of the blown resistor is, I looked up a replacement board online, then magnified the photo, and looked at the color code on that same resistor in the photo. How I found the bad transistor is too complicated to explain in few words, but you can google the procedure. (You'll need a multi-meter at the very least; preferably _with_ a built in transistor checker. However, a _totally_ blown transistor can be found with only the resistance settings on a regular multi-meter).

Best of luck...

Why does it produce no sound?

Set has an issue. Try set with other known working audio video inputs to see if it still does the same. If so then the issue is global and not one only for tuner,,etc.

Locate the board responsible for audio on all inputs and look for bad caps, burnt resistors, etc. If necessary a board might have to be replaced to restore audio.

PRN display fault in 2003 Buick Century

There are some resistors on your cluster circuit board that have corroded and thus, no longer making a good connection for PRNDLL/odo display. This is a common issue with 1997-2004 Buick Century/Regals. Look for a gauge repair service in your area or on the web. Good luck. Ron @ Speed-O-Repair

Display light for totals on cyclone pin ball machine don't display

Assuming the game is playing, but just no displays lit.

1. Check fuses on power supply board for a blown fuse. Sometimes the fuse clips will crack and not provide a snug hold to the fuse.

2. Look for bad (cracked) solder joints on the connector pins on power supply board.

3. There are two 39K resistors on the power supply board that go bad (usually go open circuit). One of those resistors is for the +100 volts and the other one is for the -100 volts. All it takes is one of those resistors to go bad and the displays will be blank. Originals were rated at a half watt, but it is suggested to replace with a higher wattage value, say 39k at 2 watts. If you find only one bad 39k resistor, replace the other one too at the same time because that one will soon fail.

I have 2 sony bravia with freezed dark vertical lines across it making that potion darker in color

If problem is one side or one half of the picture this LCD may have an inverter issue--Google the model number with either "inverter" or Parts to see if the issue is known.

Lines that are black usually are either a "handshake" issue where boards are not communicating properly or a bad board or even a bad display unit (main screen Panel) which is fatal.

This requires testing and or replacing boards to see if a board or the Display panel is causing this issue.

Power on but no led display

"Power board:
The power supply is the main culprit for most of the TA-E9000ES failures. Symptoms of this are no sound and a very dim or no display. Apparently the power board has several weaknesses which have caused Sony to supply a modified version in later production units. The circuit around transistors Q108 and Q109 are prone to oscillation, which will cause one or both transistors to break down, as well as resistor R124. This resistor is originally a surface mounted device capable of 1/10 watts of heat dissipation. The modification suggested by Sony is to replace this 4.7 k ohm resistor with a 1 watt rated version. Also, to prevent further oscillations a 100 pF capacitor is added in parallell with R153. (Some suggests that also transistor Q110 is a candidate for replacement.) The US issued service bulletin from Sony suggest that this fault may occur with units having a serial number in the range 800001 - 802746.
Serial numbers 80#### are for the US/Canadian version.
Serial numbers 50#### are for the european version."
