Electric pressure washers have a switch that cuts off the power when the pressure builds up after closing the trigger. In my case that is how I got my washer. The switch stuck in the open position thereby not letting the motor start back up. I took the covers off until I found the switch which had a stem sticking out that I could push back to operating position. I was able to drill an access hole in the cover so I could push to reset my switch because I didn't have a parts list to get a new switch. When you get the covers off you can check the switch with a meter to see if it is open and possibly reset it manually for a test to see if that is the problem. The switch should be replaceable. I hope this helps.
is there i ground fault switch at the power cord plug . if there is reset it . another problem with electric pressure washers is if water can't pass through wnd and nozzle they won't operate. there ian't a fuse inside unit.
Although this costs a little money, it covers most home gas/electric and industrial portable kerosine/diesel fired hot water pressure washers. Worth sharing...
A few things to check, the GFI plug has tripped, the machine has safety switches under cover, could have gotten wet and froze. Take cover off, plug machine in, with a electrical tester start where power enters machine and test all switches till you find bad one.
Is there a leak from the bottom ?
If so then there is a crack in the Manifold housing. A New Manifold Complete Replacement is approx. $61.03, can be purchased from Karcher.
If under 1 year old, and you can find a receipt, Karcher will replace the whole Pressure washer under warranty.
yeh this is what happen if you remove the yellow cover and you will see the metle u clip that is all that part holds on. you will needa new one from your local pressure washer supllier
HI I would think that your pressure switch has stuck.
You will need to remove the covers etc and check the internal pressure switch that will be situated on the outlet of the pump. It maybe stuck and just want greasing etc or may need replaceing.
