Generally the E4 error means that the tub is unbalanced. You either filled the washer unevenly, or you are trying to wash something too heavy or too large. Take everything out of the machine, and then re-arrange it and put it back in. If you are still getting the error, you need to wash less clothes at a time.
Another possibility is that your sensor needs replacing, the sensor that tells you how full the tub is and when it's off balance. For that, you need to call a repairman. Posted on Apr 07, 2017

No you just need to get the drain hose up higher...the water is siphoning out and is either caused by the end of the drain hose still in water and not having an air gap or the hose is not going up higher then the top of your washer...
Lifting the hose up should give you an air gap and get the hose high enough to stop the siphoning...

dE - Lid open error
Lid is open during wash cycle.
Close lid.
· Check wiring harness
· Check lid switch
· Check unbalance switch
· Check circuit board
