How do you replace the battery on Timex Women's Rush watch? I searched their site to no avail and sent an email to their tech support. Replacing watch batteries was fairly easy for the dexterity challenge but this watch is a Pip! I think they do this to make you buy a new watch.

    I agree 100%. I will never buy another Timex. I have four of them. I remember not being able to get the back on before. My thumbs are sore tonight from trying. There is just no way to get that back on. I am angry I even bought the battery.

Wlamart will do it for you if you purchase the battery from their jewelry dept.

Hi All,
I received an email from Timex customer tech support to take it to a jewler which pretty much means buy a new one. Not worth the cost of the battery and repair. I have the tools so I might as well try it myself. Either way, I will either fix it or buy another watch.

Most makers advise you to have the battery replaced professonally, so you may not find anything useful in the hand book.

It is usual to shor the battery case to the ac point on the watch using a metal object (e.g. a pair of tweezers), to reset the watch.

Take your watch to your nearest watch shop and ask them to do it for you.

You can get into difficulty replacing batteries and it is not worth the risk for the small cost saving.

Women's Timex Rush Sportwatch
Try holding all of the buttons down at the same time and then releasing them. This should reset the watch. If that does not work, then you need to take the back cover off again and briefly create a short (with a metal screw driver for example) between the battery and the 'brass' casing. Hope this works for you!
