Pyramid SE301-VL amp wiring confusion...

I have a Pyramid SE301-VL 150 watt amplifier here, but I forgot to tag the wires when I removed it from the houseboat it was installed in... Trying to install it in my boat, but not sure of the wiring on it...

Wire colors are as follows:
1 black, appears to be ground connection
1 red, assuming batt + connection
1 grey
1 green
another black which has splitter on the end ???

Pairs:
Brown, brown/white
Blue, blue/white
Green, green/white
Grey, grey/white

Was connected to Motorolla professional series cassette deck, I intend to connect it to a Kenwood cassette deck on a 4 speaker system.

Any help/information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.

Captain_Bill,

Red - should be fused & is the +12Vdc system supply voltage.
Chassis = System ground.
Individual Green, Grey, & cooresponding blacks will be the right & left chan Audio ins (Black = neg).
Paired bl/blwh, br/brwh, grey/grwh, & green/grwh will be the audio outs.

Hope this helps !!!!

I've bought a pyramid crystal 1000 watt 2 channel amplifier used it states it runs at 4 ohms can I run it at 2 or 1 ohms and if so what will the wattage be?

Not to disappoint you too much, but the 1000 watts advertised is just marketing hype. If your amp is the PB781X, it should have only a single 15A fuse on it. Your battery provides 12.5 volts when the engine is off, so at most, your amp draws 187.5 watts of power. Draws, not outputs. No amp is 100% efficient due to heat. When your engine is running, assuming your alternator outputs 14.4 volts, your amp's maximum power draw is about 216 watts. Again, this is what your amp draws, not what it puts out. What you should focus on is the RMS (continuous) output, not Max or PMPO. Those numbers are useless, unfortunately.
Your amp is rated to output 50 watts per channel at 4 Ohms, and 75 watts per channel at 2 ohms. This is when wiring your channels separately, not bridged. I did not see true power specs for your amp while bridged, but it's possible you'll just get the full 150 watts to the single bridged output. Do not attempt to apply a 1 ohm load to your amplifier, as you will run the risk of damaging it. It's not designed to handle a 1 ohm load. If you're lucky, you'll blow a fuse before the amp is damaged, but either way, there is nothing to be gained by attempting it.

Can i use a 150watt wireing harness with a 20 amp fuse for this model?

Depends on the wattage of the amp, if the amp is 150 watts then yes use a 150 watt amp kit, but i'd go with a 30 amp fuse. Basically just buy an amp kit rated at the wattage of the amp, my preferred brand is street wire, but if you're on a budget buy Scosche. Good Luck, if you have any more questions please ask...
