Images were deleted when importing to pc but are still on camcorder. How can I import those images again?

I have a Cannon HG 10. Some images I've imported to my pc were not there or I've deleted them on the pc. I think there's a way to re-import them to my pc if they're still on the camcorder hardrive.

SOURCE: unable to import video to computer on sony handycam DCR-DVD703E

I have a Sony computer, Windows XP, and my camera records on tape, so the best I can do is give you some hints.

On my system, I first load a video editing program: Pinnacle Studio, Nero, or Windows Movie Maker and use that to pick up my video. I believe that Mac has at least one very good movie editing program. Load that first, and then use it to load your video file.

A Mac owner could probably give you more explicit directions.

Good Luck

Hello sir, I have a digital camara, Sony cyber-stot, model dsc-w80. Accidently all the images deleted. But those are very important images. Can i restore it again........please

It is easier to restore deleted files on memory card if you did not add any pictures to it after deleting. Goiogle for software that can restore deleted files? Those software just restores the file names that missed one word, then you can read all the files and display them for transfer.

How do I clear the memory card on a Samsung Digimax S1000 camera?

Press 'Menu/Ok' button, then select left/right arrows to select 'Setup' sub-menu,then select 'Format' menu item with up/down arros and press 'Menu/Ok' button. Select 'Yes' and press 'Menu/Ok' again.
Don't forget to download important images to PC before doing this. ALL images from memory card will be DELETED by formatting.

Sony dsc-w50. iam not finding the folder to delete photos after connecting to pc. but able to import to pc.

The images will be in the DCIM Folder.

Go to the "My Computer" or "Computer" window, click on the Drive which represent the Camera and locate the DCIM folder and delete the images.

However, it is recommend to delete the images using the Camera (not from the Computer).

You may try formatting the Memory Stick. Formatting the Memory Stick will delete all the Data from the Memory Stick (Camera).

To format the Memory Stick:

Press the Menu button on the Camera -> SETUP -> MEMORY STICK TOOL -> Format -> OK.

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!

Problem downloading image

One of the images did not finish writing to the card properly (usually in the last 4 or 5 images, or the last video)
Try selecting all but the last 10 images and chose import selected. This should work. Then delete those from the card.
This bit is important
Put the card back in the camera (if it's in a usb reader) if not, disconnect the camera and put it into playback mode. View the remaining 10 images/video.
Try re importing and it should work fine! I've had this problem since ilife '09 and this method always fixes it. It seems to happen when the cards get full. Try not to completely fill a memory card and you should not get the problem.

Up loading pics

The camera comes with software, if you cannot find the disk, you can download it from here:
http://www.canon.ca/inetCA/en/serviceDetail/method/load/id/1/sid/50/mid/2000029/type/D/opt/1

Download this manual
http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/4/0900001034/01/DCSDV30_EN.pdf

Read pages 16 - 20, they explain all about different methods of downloading all images, just new images or even selecting specific images.

Busy signal when trying to import images to my pc

I have had the same problem with getting a busy signal after plugging in the USB cord. Usually turning it on and off a few times, giving it a few seconds in between, works for me.
Also, have you tried just going into My Computer and clicking on the drive for the USB you've got you're camera plugged into and transferring the photos onto your pc from there? They only go onto your pc, not into a program but you can get them into one from there.

Fail to get pc recognise my camcorder panasoninvgs 10

1:
plug in the camera and then restart your computer

2:
make sure the camera is in the correct mode (you need it to be in the "PC" position for importing images and in the video recording mode for Webcam function

if you are importing photos then look in "My Computer and if you see "removable disk" or similar your photos are in there somewhere

for Webcam just open MSN messenger and check for a little webcam icon under your avatar

Hope this helps:
