please test the speed sensor. see the diagram attached .This is probably a faulty speed sensor or the speed sensor is not
plugged in properly. Its also possibly a faulty motor control board test the output voltage for input voltage terminal power if there are NOT the board is faulty . The error codes will differ between makes and models but
could be e1. See my personal TIPS for help. God bless you
E1 code means an elevation problem but I am not familiar with the new Spirit models. Been trying to set up with Spirit now that I am getting calls on them again. Its been 5 years since my last call, best thing to do is get in contact with Spirit and they will direct you on what to do or give you phone # to call a service provider. The older units had a calibration sequence for such a problem.

Yeah - the sensor is the problem... It is magnetic... You can find it next to the wheel on the belt - It is fairly small.... There is a metal disc in the wheell on the belt that is a magnet.. As it passes by the sensor - the sensor registers the magnet and can simply calculate speed based on the frequency of the passes... Sometimes the sensor slides too far back and ergo can`t register the magnet passing by - Then you get the L5 error...
