Car sat for 5 days not driven, now get "Stop car too low" error

Ok, I have an 03 E500 everytime I don't drive this car for an extended time, something happens. When I inserted the key, I got this error message "Stop car too low", when I started the car, I noticed the hydrolics in the back rose up. What's going on, anyone know?

Sounds like you may have a leak in the airmatic suspension struts on the rear. These govern the height of the car in different modes. Not an immediate problem unless you are loosing a visible amount of fluid but it will only get worse.

To check if you have airmatic you will have buttons just behind the gear lever which can be used to put the car in to a stiffer, lower mode or to raise it for rough ground

Take it back to where you got it and make them refund your purchase price. If they refuse and you finianced it go to them, There a law called "The Lemon Law" that makes it unlawful to sell something like that. Sounds like you sure bought one. Don't do anything to it just get hold of the place where you bought it and tell them to come get their junk out of your yard! dhgill1949

I have a 2004 BMW 545i. The Transmission Light came on 2 days ago but it has not been on since. I thought Transmission Fluid might be low. If it is I woulds like to knoow what type I should use. Once I...

I had the transmission fluid checked. It was ok- Apparently a malfunction in the electrical system. The battery has been recharged and I drove it yesterday. It seems to be ok. I plan to replace the battery soon, since it has not been replaced since I purchased the car in 2004. I drive it so infrquently I think the battery simply died. It has been driven approximately 25 miles since December 2008. I plan to drive it on the highway this summer.

Car driven from AZ to TX without issue. Car sat 3 days in parents driveway. Car won't start. Car turns over but doesn't fire.

IT SOUNDS DUMB BUT YOU SHOULD HAVE TWO KEYS, IF YOU DO TRY WITH THE OTHER KEY. IF NOT BUY A SPARE KEY THEY TEND TO STOP COMMUNICATING WITH THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE AND WONT START

RPM shot up to 4.5/5 while idling

I have a 2003 Acura TLS, bought new Oct 2002 currently with only 42600 KM (real low) My problem appears to be the same. I noticed specificly on warm days after 30 min driving, when coming to a stop, the idle was about 3500 RPM. Parked the car, turned it off. When starting up again, RPM stayed at 3200, also couldn't put into drive (possibly safety mechanism to prevent damage to transmission). After 30 min when cooled, was able to start again - OK.
I brought it to the dealer thinking possibly connected to FAULTY TRANSMISSION". There was a special extended warranty issued by ACURA >>> http://www.internetautoguide.com/auto-recalls/09-int/2003/acura/tl/index.html I believe it also includes 2002's. Your Dealer should check into it again.
My dealer, ACURA LAVAL (in Que, Canada) seemed to look at nothing else than the transmission. In fact, 2 days after not hearing from him, he told me that they had already ordered a NEW Transmission which is being put in as I write.

Hope this is helpful to any Owner/Dealer who reads this

Best Wishes from the Great White North- Canada

Battery needs jump start if car is not driven for 3 days.

u either have a shorted cell in the battery or the system has a current draw like a glove box light being left on, try disconnecting the battery the next time you leave it, if it starts ok then u have a current draw and need to find the source of that draw.
