  1. I changed one in my 76 recently. Loosen bolts on the side towards the rear of toilet. remove water line. (shutoff first) pull straight up to remove. I t is pretty easy.

SOURCE: Toilet won't shut off

Does it leak from the overflow? If so then the washer at the top of the Fluidmaster needs to be replaced. If it is not going over the overflow then you will need to replace the flapper on the flush valve.

SOURCE: toto toilet ultra max flush

Open the tank and examine the linkages between the handle and the flapper. If the handle is sticking, it sounds like there may be either mineral buildup or a stuck chain.

This seems like a problem with your cistern and not your macerator - I have a similar set up and if your push button is stuck you need to check the mechanism in the cistern - also you should have an overflow that drains into your loo within the cistern so you should check this for blockages as well.

Travel trailer septic won't drain not sure why the valve feels like it is opening

Its clogged with a big (s h i t ) from ur wife. Go to can tire and buy the part that allowes u to hook a hose to it try and flush it with water if that don't work fit an air connnector to it. And slightly open ur toilet valve then use air to push the clog out into the main tank.be sure not to do this with the toilet valve closed or u will hate ur self. Good luck and tell the wife to ease off the chilly and bread. Lol

How do you Clean out algae in toilet water holding tank

Walmart sell aglaecide for swimming pools and hot tubs. I'd use that first. After algae has died, scrub inside of tank lightly and flush a couple of times.

Leaky Seal

By leaking do you mean onto the bathroom floor, or is water escaping out the flush valve (the part that the Hydroright is seated in) into the toilet bowl. If the former 1) check toilet tank mounting bolts/gaskets for deterioration or looseness. These are usually 5/16"x3" brass bolts with rubber, plastic, and metal washers with a nut. They can be seen protruding through bottom of tank. 2) check flush valve and rubber gasket between tank and bowl. The flush valve is the one that the refill tube goes into and the hydroright seats into.
If you are only leaking water into bowl I would suggest the blue dome gasket ( part of Hydroright kit) is not properly seated properly into flushvalve, and you may have to re-install hydroright (the instructions explain how to remove and re-install) . I broke my existing/old flush valve at the base when trying to install my Hydroright so maybe it was fortuitous that it broke and I had to install a new one. Hope this helps.

I desperately need an owners manual for a 1998 Glendale Golden Falcon Travel Trailer. I am 74 and need all the help and instruction I can get. I have been scouring the internet all day today and have...

Paul,

Plese don't be desperate. Your rig has been around a good long time as have you. It is doubtful that you will find the collection of manuals you seek after this many years ... yet, if you have questions about your rig, I will be glad to help you. I am both a camper and I work in a large recreational vehicle park. I dont know it all, but I know a lot. If you will ask questions, I will try to assist you. Deal?

Opal 2000 toilet suite, water leaking from around bedding cement. Have marked water level in cistern and bowl with marker and there is no change, water would appear to be coming when toilet is flushed like...

check the donut seal which seals the cistern to the pan, they perish and leak when the toilet is flushed, water runs down back of pan to floor you can check this by drying/wiping with tissue back of pan and flushing you will see if any moisture is running down there by wiping again with tissue and seeing if it is damp.

I've installed a lot of Toto toilets and have had few leaks but, not from the one piece toilets. It might be a problem toilet but, I would be sure the drain is not blocked causing a small back up after the flush.I have seen this happen many times. The toilet can be pulled and a 5gallon bucket of water can be poured down the drain to test this before replacing the toilet. also be sure water is not spraying on the top of the tank lid and leaking down the back of the toilet. If you flush the toilet with the lid off it should be easy to see if that the problem. hope this helps.

My toto toilet has both 1.6 gal and 6 gal flushes. the short flush doesn't go down.

I am not a toto expert but i think i understand the gravity control toilet concept.A gravity flush tank type toilet flushes do to the force of water traveling from the tank to the bowl in a small passageway and forces the water in the bowl towards the integral trap in the toilet. In other words the water isnt dumping quick enough or the passageway is restricted.,My guess is the flush valve isnt dumping all at once.
