SOURCE: how do I check my voicemail on my vetch dect 6.0

Enter the model of your VTech DECT 6.0 phone/answering machine into the search box at http://www.vtechphones.com/support/general/manuals to download a copy of the manual.

If the messages are on a voicemail system provided by your telephone company rather than on an answering machine attached to your phone, then please contact them for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

How often does a vetch DECT 6.0 cs6114 wireless phone have to be replaced?

Most likely when it is no longer worth fixing, but the most typical issue is the rechargeable battery life cycle has died out. Jump on ebay/amazon and buy new battery.

Where is speaker on alcatel cell phone?

? Microphone? For the other person to hear you the microphone on the phone must work. You cannot adjust that. For you to hear them you need a speaker on your phone. You can adjust the volume of the speaker on your phone. If callers cannot hear you try putting your phone on the speaker, rather than handset mode so it becomes a speaker phone. Then, while talking to someone to test the phone, try holding it in different ways to see if you are covering the microphone with your fingers. Without knowing what model of phone (specifically) you have I can't figure out where these are located on your phone. You can google the model though and locate them yourself easily.

I have a Uniden dect 6 phone and hthe screen says silent mode is on It got engaged accidently don't know how, Don't know how to disengage and now can't hear phone when it rings please help

Without knowing the model of your phone I can't give you a definite answer, but on many Uniden DECT 6.0 phones you press and hold the # button to switch out of silent mode.

You can get the model by selecting the model of your phone from the list beginning at

Hi. i am a regular user of google talk..but since one week i cant talk properly thru google talk.i caould hear from the other end..but they can hear only my broken voice.my head phones work fine with...

Make sure the volume for your microphone is turned on. Here's how:
  1. Click the 'Start' menu in your taskbar, and highlight 'Settings.'
  2. Select 'Control Panel.'
  3. Locate 'Sounds and Audio Devices' in the Control Panel, and double-click the icon.
  4. Open the 'Volume' tab, and click 'Advanced...' in the 'Device volume' section.
  5. Look for 'Microphone' in the 'Volume Control' box that opens, and make sure your microphone is enabled and the volume is high enough.
  6. Close the 'Volume Control' box, and then click 'OK.'
If you're using an external microphone, and the volume is set properly, check that the device is securely connected to your computer.
And if that doesn't solve the problem, make sure your microphone of choice is selected in the 'Output - speakers or headset' drop-down menu in the 'Audio' section of your Google Talk Settings.

Cheers!!

I can hear trough my headset but not talk

okay, this is obvious but first of all make sure this switch on your headset is not on mute. If alls good there go to your dashboard settings and you should see communication and make sure none of these are blocked. If this also isn't the problem it looks like you are going to need a new headset. It should have a years warrenty if that helps?

Headphones

Try opening the volume control (you should find a VOLUME icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. Right click on this and open volume control.
Check if the "microphone" level is down or if the mute button is checked. If it is, click on it again to uncheck and increase the microphone level to full. If you do not see the Microphone level at all, click on "options" and then "properties" and make sure microphone is checked.

Hope this helps..

Microphone problem

If the speaker icon is in your system tray (next to your clock), then you can right click on it, then "Open Volume Control" and make sure your Microphone volume is up and that the mute (under microphone) check box is unchecked. If the icon is not there, you will have to check the box to show it in Control Panel > sounds and audio devices... You may have to go to options, then click on advanced controls to adjust the mic..
If that doesn't do it? You could update your audio driver.
Good luck.

Microphone volume

I'm not 100% sure it's the microphone in your case, since I am experiencing the same problem right now with another microphone. I borrowed a working headset from my friend and it is not working either. My volume is up like yours and I can barely hear myself. I am updating the drivers soon and I'll let you know if that fixes it.
