Call your service provider(not phone maker) and tell them you need the puk code,They will have you read the # off the sim card and be able to give you the puk code.

The PUK code is related to the SIM card, not to the phone. If the SIM card is different from the one originally provided with the phone the PUK code won't work.

When you lose the PUK code, the only way to retrieve the code is by calling the phone company that released the card inside the phone.

An alternative way to get rid of the PUK code is by using a different SIM card.

SOURCE: Can't verify new PIN after using PUK

I do not have solution, but the same problem.
I was asked to enter PUK, which I did (I am 100% sure it is right, coz I am reading it from the card supplied with SIM) and then when asked to ener ew pin and to verify it, i get error code and back to entering PUK again.
It drives me crazy and I have run 5 attempts and 5 are left. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I have E72. I am think to myself if the PUK I am entering, although correct, is not taken corctly via kezboard (perhaps as characters instead of numbers on E72), but not able to verify that as enteries are not displayed when typed in, but straight away u c asterisks...
Pls if anyone can help, as I am basically not reachable on my phone.

Just relax, PINs and PUK codes are your right to know. They are unique for every connection. You can never get it from anywhere in the world except the Operators.

All you have to do is to call the service providers like T-mobile, Orange from landline or other cellphone and ask for the PIN and PUK agaisn that connection (SIM card). They will first authenticate your ownership and will give you your code in return.

My standard lock code was changed is there anything i can do
Contact your cellular service provider and ask for Tech Support. They'll ask for your account password. They can then give you a security override code which you will enter on your phone's keypad. This will give you access to your phone to enter a new PIN.

We cannot provide security codes at FixYa as we are unable to verify ownership of cellphones.

This is the code that you just entered as the new pin code. If i am right, you get this when you try to change the security code. Just type in exactly that you typed in on the new pin code.
