They are motor motor manufacture specific but aftermarket controls are available. If you want an original, google used outboard parts. I know of a few used parts houses

In all honesty, its probably impossible to get the original wiring diagram. Also, I would be willing to bet that there has been alot of re-wiring and changes made to the wiring and electrical system of the boat. If you describe exactly what your trying to do, install fix or re-wire I may be able to better assist

On the back of many ignition switches there are letters by the terminals. B=battery usually the heaviest wire, S=starter, I= ignition which means the coil and full time powered devices, A=accessories as in things that work both on demand (radio) while engine is off and while engine is running. If you find the hull identification number which is always stamped on the right side of the transom then the last two numbers indicate a year. Ex. BUJ5C45208 Would be a 2008.
