What model Kodak 8.0 megapixel camera? The M1063 is a 10 megapixel model.

Some Kodak cameras can charge the battery when you connect the camera to a power source. Some Kodak cameras come with a separate battery charger. Some Kodak cameras use disposable batteries. Without knowing the model of your camera I can't tell you how to charge your camera.

Fixing your problem could be as simple as cleaning the battery contacts in the camera, or the solution could be a lot more complex and expensive. Here's a link to the Kodak Help Center - it provides a simple Q&A format to diagnose the problem and propose a solution.

Maybe, the batteries need to be changed to new ones.
Try to use Li ion batteries as recommended by Kodak.

When charging from the computer the camera has to be switched off. If it isn't the camera is using its power to transferre pics.

If you do not have access to a dif. battery. A way to test the battery:
Pls. take the batt out of the camera. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works all is well if not, your battery is covered under the same warranty agreement as your camera. Remember when phoning KODAK they will be needing the model and serial no. of your camera.

Kodak C613 camera dock won't charge my camera. The green light won't light up, Help

What batteries you use?

The camera docks only charge the kodak battery pack KAA2HR (you can buy this pack at the kodak website) or Kodak Li-Ionen batteries but they don't work in Your camera. So buy a battery pack KAA2HR from kodak and the dock will charge it ;-)
