What dose MSDC mean - Vivitar ViviCam 8025 Digital Camera

MSDC means Mass Storage Device Class, when MSDC on LCD
it indicates you are in USB mode. Have you recently connected your device to your computer by way of a USB? If you have did you click
on the safely remove hardware button on your task bar before removing it? Have you clicked on the menu button on your camera
to check if the MSDC is listed in your device option?

MSDC is the mass storage menu.

MSDC stands for Mass Storage Device Class.

This will come up when transferring data from your device to a PC!

The MSDC indicates that the camera has recognized it's connected to a computer.

The red light indicates that the camera's battery is charging.

That means that the camera recognizes that it's connected to a computer. You need to control the download process from the computer while the camera just sits there saying "MSDC".

Make sure your battery is inserted in the proper direction (it will fit even if upside down).

i have the same camera and the same problem but i have found out msdc means mass storage device, for the camera to work you have to have a memory card inside it. im getting one tomorrow for mine, so hopefully that should solve the problem :)

My sciphone wont read my memory card, it says msdc read error
