How do I add a pause in the prefix of Barcode scanner GM4100?

I am not sure you can add a pause in the Prefix per se, but you can increase the Intercharacter delay which should achieve the result you want.

Download the Product Reference Guide for the GM4100 from this page: Gryphon GD4100

Here is the direct link to the 13MB PDF:
http://www.datalogic.com/tools/download.aspx?iddwnfile=1608&path=%2fupload%2fmarketlit%2fmanuals%2fgryphon%2f820050514.pdf&name=820050514

You will need to print several pages so that you can scan the appropriate codes to change the scanner setup. Follow the instructions on the following pages:

Pages 47 and 292 describes the Intercharacter Delay.
Pages 351 and 352 in Appendix D give you the number scans you will also need.

You might start with a 10ms delay and increase this until it works. A little experimentation will surely solve your problem.

HOW I WANT TO DISABLE ENTER AFTER I SCAN BARCODE..... I USE SCANNER MODEL GRYPHON GD4400

Just download print the GRYPHON quick reference guide (print on laser printer without zooming) and program the scanner to factory default.
Otherwise, you will need to download the FULL reference manual. Then print out the relevant programming barcodes that will remove the last character.

Gryphon M100

Hmmm are these falling apart after 2 years? A customer of ours seems to be having that problem for about 1 or 2 months. Close to our date. I saw you are from America. We're located in Europe. I havn't seen it yet, but got told the red light / beam isn't rectangluar. Seems it more V shaped. Like at 1 end a piece is missing. A new pc installation didn't help. We still want more information before we drive there. So we know what to take with us. The clean the glass every now and then, so it should be clean. Wondering if it is the scanner if there is a led broken or some lose wiring or something. Then they probably need to buy a new one. IF someone knows any other tests to try or know the solution please let me know at [email protected]
