SOURCE: Cancel Job

Turn the power switch off. Exit the label program on your computer.

Turn the power switch back on and restart the software.

The reset button wont work because the job is spooled in the computer. Sometime you can cancel it from the computer if you have access to the spooler.

SOURCE: Clear print job on Zebra printer

Simply press the PAUSE button then press CANCEL. If you have sent a batch of 500 labels, though, you will have to press CANCEL 500 times. I usually just turn the printer off, cancel the job in the printer driver status box, then wait for all of the error messages to pop up.

Hi, as i turn the printer on its start to print some code!! It seems its on the memory of the printer. Even if i unplug the usbcable it prints by itself. I tried do restore the default config but nothing...

If you are running Windows, then your printer buffer is trying to send the print job to the printer.
Look down below in the STATUS area near the time. See if you have a printer ICON. Select it and choos to CANCEL print jobs. Then after all jobs canceled, turn your printer back on.

Zebra 105SL prints 90 degs to what's on the screen

Print out a Cancel Self Test label:
1. Turn the printer off
2. Press and hold the CANCEL button while you turn the printer on.

If the label that prints out looks normal, you have a config issue in either your printer driver or your label software's page setup.

Zebra printer 140xilll - Too many print jobs?

It does sound like you have a memory overload when you send the 2nd print job. Each label is getting sent to the printer and filling up the memory. Make sure you are using the printer resident fonts and not a regular windows font. The windows fonts get sent down as graphics and take up memory. What zebra is saying to do is store the format of the label in the printer memory and then just send down the information that changes. For example if you were printing a UPS label the basic format of the label is the same but things such as the addresses and tracking # would change.

Sent too many labels to printer - need to reset

As the previous expert has stated, with the printer paused, press the cancel key to cancel the job. One thing to note, is depending on how your software sends the print jobs, you may say print 1000 labels, but the software sends it one at a time, so basically you have 1000 print jobs in the printer. If you pause the printer, press and hold the cancel key. Hold it for about 2 mins. This should clear the buffer.
