Right front burner wont get hot. Light goes on but it remains cold, Whats up with that?

What holds the spring assembly onto the bar assembly is just two small prongs. Use a pliers on the end that protrudes through the bar, squeezing the prongs together, and it should come out fairly easily.

WHEN THE SURFACE SWITCHES ARE IN A ROW ON THE CONSOLE, THEY ARE USUALLY WIRED IN PARALLEL FOR THE INPUT VOLTAGES(RED AND BLACK WIRES ATTACHED TO EACH OTHER). IF THERE IS A BURN OUT OF ONE OF THE WIRES, IT WILL AFFECT THE OTHER SWITCH INPUTS DOWN THE LINE.
TAKE OFF THE BACK PANEL OF THE CONSOLE AFTER UNPLUGGING IT AND CHECK FOR VISIBLE SIGNS OF WIRES BURNT. REPAIR OR REPLACE IF NEEDED. SOMETIMES, THEY WILL DAMAGE THE TERMINAL OF THE SWITCH THEY ARE ATTACHED TO. IF THIS IS THE CASE, THE SWITCH WILL ALSO HAVE TO BE REPLACED.

Ensure that all of the top burners and oven are turned off. Remove any oven racks, heat plates and burner hardware so that you can get to all of the burners on top and in the oven. If your oven has a pilot lights for all burners, check to see that they are lit.
