Common problem on this Westinghouse LED TV's.

The Wires connector are good but the solder on the green board is bad. Often cold solder joints between the metal onboard connector and surface of the daughterboard. I had gotten a order of 15 of these Dead/no Video/Intermittent video. 11 were repaired with this method.
Westinghouse 32" LD-3235 LED TV

Disconnect wires
- apply flux on metal tangs
With a small tip soldering iron
- touch each contact for a few seconds.
Do not use a large tip iron
Do not overheat the contacts
Do not use a heavy hand

Do the menus work or input labels appear when you change sources?
Have you tried unplugging the power with the tv turned on, waiting a few minutes, then plugging it back in and turning it on?

Its probably a broken backlight inverter, it costs about $130 for a new 1, and thats if you install it yourself, which shouldn't be too hard You can probably find instructions online about how to do that (P.S. Check before buying and trying to install yourself.)

This problem is caused from a problem with the main board. The main board will need to be replaced. It runs from $100.00 to $150.00.

replace capacitor c162 on power supply

power supply was a delta electric dps210ep-2c rev01

reheat any solder joints that don't look 100% as well .
such as c310 .

this is a known working fix . try before you buy a supply .

Hello,
Since you still get the sound it looks like that your inverter board is gone. Try to check if your Tv works with any external device for example Dvd or blue ray player if it works fine then you know that your tunes is out. Either way you have to change the main board.
