How to reset my ipod

If you want to reset your ipod back to factory setting then this if what you do:
1. plug your ipod into the computer and open itunes.
2. click on your ipod and click back-up to backup your data on ur ipod.
3. If you have any photos that you want make sure you have a backup of them or transfer them.
4.After that you can just press the rest button in itunes.
-Or-
if you dont care about what on the ipod then you can go to settings, then general, then rest and chose which rest you would like.

Ipod lostpassword screen saysdisabled

You need to Restore your iPod touch with iTunes

- Simply open up iTunes
- Connect your iPod
- Click on "iPod" in the upper right corner (v.11)
- Click on "Restore iPod" in the first panel
- Save your backup
- iTunes should get you through the rest of restoring

NOTE: After the Restore, you have to configure everything (Wi-Fi, Settings, Syncing Apps, etc..)

Ipod touch locked up, passcode needed

You can restore the ipod back to factory settings by putting it into DFU mode. to put it into DFU mode google greenpois0n and download it for your computer and follow only the first steps that put your ipod into DFU mode. After that iTunes should detect that the ipod needs to be restored and it will do the rest. when your ipod is restored just re-sync your ipod.
