Hello - Typically 88:88 on an Electrolux dryer indicates a generic power failure code. Try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes.
Try restting the breaker for the dryer, go to the box and find the breaker for the dryer push the breaker to the all the way off postion then push forward to all the way on direction if this is the problem this will clear the problem. If this does not work just post to the e-mail you get and I will give you more proceedures to test but this is the first one of the steps to test the dryer.
