You don't replace the battery, it is a rechargeable battery and can not be replaced. All you can do is recharge it. To do this read the directions in the manual. If you don't have a manual you can read the one at this link:

After googling the problem, I saw a couple of PDF documents that said that Motorola would replace or change the battery, but the links to the documents were outdated. At this site, they said the battery is non-replaceable: http://direct.motorola.com/ens/s9/Headset_Home.asp.

It looks to me like the battery can be replaced, at the service level, but that normally it is a throwaway item at the consumer level. See if they can help you, but, of course, get the price first, and that will tell you whether to have it fixed or replaced. Good luck, and hope this helps.

try a new battery, and if you already have, check the copper contacts on the battery and phone for corrosion, otherwise the problem may be internal.

i think 9 times out of 10 replacing the battery will take too much time and hassle
even if you open it up get the battery out finding a perfect match for the battery will be hard getting all the voltages capacity of the battery size

According to Motorola the battery is embedded in the headset and cannot be replaced. After much wading around I found this information hidden in FAQs at www.hellomoto.com/S9. There may be someone else at this site under the phone section who can help you more. Motorola S9 bluetooth headset 's battery is FIXED no user can replace it and Motorola "Washes their hands on that " somebody should sue them for selling these headsets without any comment about the fixed battery.
