My dell duo inspirion wont dock with jbl sound dock no sound or lighton when docked.

No luck finding repair, so have accepted that mini jack into ipod and aux-in socket in on-time will have to do. My daughter is satisfied!!

SOURCE: JBL Radial Remote stopped working.New battery replaced no avail.

Turn on the JBL with the ipod in place, turn off at the mains plug, turn back on, turn on your JBL and the remote should work.

SOURCE: how to connect pendrive usb to JBL ipod dock

Buy a universal USB cord which has many different connecting ends. Easily available in electronic shops.
Connect USB 2.0 to the pendrive and the other end to JBL IPOD dock

Check the iPhone's connector. There may be a pin problem that triggered the issue. iPod/iPhone connectors are known to have such problem.

You can also clean or use cotton bud to clear out any excess dirt in the connector. That may help.

Jbl speaker dock for dell Inspiron duo
If your speaker set has a built-in amplifier (it does if it has to plugged into power), and it has the mini headphone plug (it probably does), then they will work with anything that uses headphones. Including iPad.

Dell duo station
I had the same issue. I tried opening the dock and could not find anything wrong. It seems the charger was delivering sufficient voltage. So I disconnected power to the charger and reconnected couple of times and it started working again. My charger has a LED light and based on the brightness of the light you can findout if the output voltage is close to 20 volts.

Have you made sure the dock is compatible with the iPod version you have? If you are having to move the iPod around, this may be because the dock isn't built for the iPod you own.

It could also be a technical fault that the dock is loose. Take it/send it back to the shop and explain your problem.

Sounds like a compatibility issue between your Dell and the Docking station. I would say make sure the software for your docking station is installed properly, and update the software before connecting again.

Jbl radial dock connector broken
I have the same problem, but I got round it instantly by plugging my ipod into the speaker via the headphone port on the ipod and into the audio port on the speaker. The speaker came with a spare lead as you can plug any music player into it this way. The sound quality seems exactly the same and I dont have to throw away the speakers, hooray! If you have lost the lead you need a 3.5 mm male to male headphone lead, just pence in any electrical shop or amazon!

My Jensen ipod docking system wont charge my i touch
The older ipods charge using 12v, the newer ones (including the Touch 2nd gen) use 5v. So a lot of docks that will charge a nano will not charge a new Touch. If a dock says it will work with the iPhone then it will work with the newer iPod Touch (2nd gen).
If you have an old dock and want to charge a new Touch (sounds like the case here) then you can get an adapter. Scosche makes one just for this.
