f1 is usually a bad computer board or control board same thing,you could have a loose wire you can check the board for a loose connection but most likely it will be the board itself,f1 is a communication error,when you start the dryer the board sends out signals to all the other parts in the dryer if it can't connect with one of the parts f1 will come up,it's telling you the board isn't connected or the board is damaged and can't communicate with other parts so if the board is damaged or there's a loose connection this will happen,if the board did connect with another part and the part failed it would give you another error code

F1 error code is a miscommunication between the control board and the rest of the machine. Check for any loose or damaged wires. If no loose or damaged wires are found, replace the control board and this should clear up your problem.

F1 means that water is in your basepan--- you can pull the bottom drawer out and soak up the water with a towel... you will have to use a hair dryer to dry underneath the control sensor in the back left corner.
