I often have this problem when using the A/V cord. Can the Wii use HDMI? Your sound would be fixed.

SOURCE: Tying to watch instant tv and movies with WII and netflix

That service isn't available quite yet. When it is, you will require a wii that's connected to the internet, some sort of netflix account, and a "Netflix Instant Streaming disc."

SOURCE: we are unable to connect netflix thru the wii

Can you provide further details such as the method in which you connect to the internet, or your netflix account type, etc? That would help answer your question more clearly.

SOURCE: The Wii picture is freezing,

There is most likely a hardware issue with the Wii. Something in the Wii is dying. Issues like this can only be fixed by sending the Wii to Nintendo (after calling them) or finding a local store with a specialist who has experience taking apart and fixing Wiis.

Can I watch Netflix on Wii free?

No you must pay for Netflix. If you have a Netflix account then down load the app off of the Wii shop channel and log into it. There are no monthly fees to use your Wii online but there are for Netflix.

Why is the audio on my surround sound so low on Netflix?

If you are running through computer, check the volume setting on your computer (bottom right corner, click on speaker and make sure volume up high)....or check on the webpage that volume is loud (slide to right).

The volume does not stay constant

Check and replace the damaged component/s at its main board. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

I have a constant ringing sound coming from the tv. It goes up and down as I increase or lower the volume by remote. As I change the audio option to "Spanish", regular "English" audio comes out on c

The fact it shows on tuner and not DVD means not likely a audio problem--check all audio settings in the set's menu AND if you are using a box for signal look there--has to be a setting.

Some JVC sets (brand indicated here) also had issues with when watching the background audio (like a sporting event) was louder than the people talking and could be interpreted as ringing--This is a setting in the set called something like "Theater" or "Hall"

Has to almost certainly be a setting in the set.

Hook up my wii so that i can order and watch netflix on my tv

With the Wii you can only watch Netflix movies through the instant queue. In order to do this, you must request the Netflix CD for the Wii online and write down the code that is given to you when you do so. When the CD arrives, put it into the Wii (Make sure you have a working wireless connection to the Wii) and enter the code you wrote down. You should be good to watch any movies through the Netflix instant queue on your Wii. The Nintendo Wii cannot otherwise play DvDs. Anytime you want to use Netflix on your Wii, you must insert the Netflix CD for the Wii, so be sure to keep track of it! Let me know if you need anything else!

Wii freezes when trying to search 4 movies only thru netflix

Delete the Netflix software from your Wii then restart the Wii.
Then download the Netflix software again and try searching.

It sounds like a the program data got corrupted so a re-install of the Netflix software should resolve this.

Volume Control

I had the same issue, there is a Late night mode on the remote that minimizes the volume of a loud scene so you don't have the constantly adjust the volume. Works great if you are trying to watch a movie while others are trying to sleep.
