Makes copies but does not want to print job I send.. Does not even show that it has recieved the printing job. How can I fix this a repair man came yesterday but did not make sure all functions were working..

This is a commercial quality machine that would need a dealer technician, but there are some things you can try.

Any Error Codes? They can all be Google and the website PrintCopyInfo lists them all.

Clear the Print Jobs, remove the wall plug for 5 minutes. Press and hold the Print button for 30 seconds. Plug back in. Make sure all the machine doors are closed and pull out and push back all the paper trays.

Does it do this on all jobs? If yes, look for a function either in the general setup of the device or the driver for job separation. Having this function on causes the printer to print a blank page between print jobs to help separate them. This not to be confused with the job separation function of the 3 bin sorter where print, fax and copy jobs come out in different bins.

Will it make a copy?
Do you get an error message?

check hp for latest driver for your operating system, also check if there is a PCL and PS driver. PS is better for PDF. sometimes an adobe update can cause these issues so if you cannot find a driver update you could roll back adobe to see if that fixes your issue.

The printe will not scan or print. When I fax documents it is recieved witha balck shadow in teh background. I get error 2200 when I try to print or scan.

Every print job, copy, and fax have the solid black line across the pages. I have changed the drum and the cartridge and even tried cleaning mode. Please help!!! I have a HP Laser Jet 2840 All in One

go into system monitor on the main screen and click on the print jobs recieve and clear them,

make sure when printing it has all checked off in the page range box instead of pages
