Convert MENC files to JPG format

I downloaded the photos from my HTC mobile to my PC, but they could not be read because they are in MENC format, so i want to convert them to JPG in my PC. how can i do this

After doing hard reset of my HTC mobile.all my files in the sd card now is in menc files.my phone also cannot read the file eventhough all the files were encrypted by the phone. Please Send Me The Solution For This Problem . thanks in advance

You just have to decrpyt the files or turn off the evcryption settings.. to turn that off just go to security settings and unchecked it .. then restart the phone reinsert the card .. and your good..

HEy I love your article. You can decrypt the file even if you don't have an encryption key. It's very cool and convenient software.

Guys..... switch off the card encryption on the phone. A work around to decrypt the photos is to email them from your phone to another email account. They get decrypted in the process. I haven't found a way to decrypt the encrypted photo's straight from source yet but working on it.

PS i think MENC = "M"obile "ENC"ryption

Turn off the encryption on your phone. Power it off, take our your SD card, and then reinsert it and power back on.

You will have to open them with the software provided. Or you could try changing the name to ***.jpg and see if it works. You may just be lucky, if it does not work just change it back to ***.MENC. Or just search online.
