Earthquake my question is put a plug on the back of the hair dryer there was a white wire that should have been connected on the middle wire but I connected it on the right outer wire now the dryer motor will not turn what do I need to do

Pull the plug. Reconnect after 30 seconds. If there is a fault you need to fix the fault first as the fault will continue to stop the dryer. Faults may be solved by reading the troubleshooting section in the user manual.

Your issue might be the thermal fuse. This page goes over that and other potential causes for your model dryer.
The clicking could be the start relay or the door switch ... hard to say.

Where is the reset button and how do I get to it
On some appliances the reset is to cut off your breaker an then turn it back on. Loss of power will reset unit. Repairman told me to try it before he came out. It worked.

most likly to be thermostat if you remove the lid you should see 2 little round thermostats on top somewhere some stats have a reset button on 1 of the thermostats if there is press it if it clicks try it on a dry to see if it works
