Battery exhausted do i need to buy new battery?

even new batteries can die. I only can advice you to try to start a charge cycle a few times in a row, but if the charger does not indicate it is charging, I'm afraid you really have to buy a new battery.
I have a Nikon battery that is almost 3 years off age and in the camera it says capacity 100% NEW. But it is used on a regular base and charged regular.

Charge the battery or buy a new battery.

If your battery is more than 3 years old then a new battery may fix your problem provided the charging system is working properly.

Same problem I also having on my s4150 model.. First I get the problem on the 10th day of the purchase.. and then i have sent my to nikon service center 3 times for the same problem.. Nikon people are saying Battery does not come under warranty.. you have to buy the new battery..

Problems like these are sometimes caused by old batteries. I suggest you buy a new battery.

Replace the rechargeable batteries, it sounds like it is the main problem.

Mine too. The camera is not good what so ever. The batterys seem to die in 5mins but the same batterys can go weeks in my guitar hero guitars. We had to buy expensive rechargeables and it still does the same. Just get a new camera

i have a nikon 7600 when ever i turn my camera on it says battery exhausted and turns off ny its self. so i tried buying new batteries and it still did the same thing what do i do
