it may be due to network lock, contact service provider , else you can get unlock codes here http://www.onlinegsmunlock.com/ you need to specify the phone model and network provider
Take the battery out and leave it out for 1-minute. (You can use a pencil eraser (or rubber band) to clean the battery's contacts. Then replace the battery in the phone and try to turn it on.
If it still will not come on, you will probably have to replace the battery.
My daughters phone had the same problem. It turned out that my very magnetic purse (which I had put her phone in) messed it up. I took the phone and reran it over the battery vertically and horizontally and it started to work instantly. I guess the phones are very sensitive to magnets (purses, money clips, phone cases/holster holders) so be careful. Hope this helps!!!
I had the same thing happen to me during the 1st wk when I had my phone. Not sure how it happened, but all I did was shut my phone off and removed the battery. I waited about a minute before reinserting the battery and turning the phone back on. It took about another minute for the phone to initialize itself. After that, problem was solved. Good Luck ~ :)
