There is a Wi-Fi network on my lg optimus pro that caught my eye because it is repeated. When I tried to forget the network it said failed to forget network. I went online and found some info that said it was originated in the middle east. A friend said someone may be using my data don't know if that's possible but please how do I get rid of it.

Solution 1.Check wireless connection.
The first step of diagnosis have to any other device connected to the same network, ensure the wireless connection is working fine, or verify the settings of your wireless router to correct it.
2.Check your Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep Settings.
Owing to Wi-Fi sleep policy your Wi-Fi connection may be going to get disconnected every now and then.
Tweak this policy to keep your Wi-Fi connection awake.

Save changes and exit all the screens. Your Wi-Fi will never get disconnected again due to this policy.

3.Check signal strength of wireless connection.
The performance of a wireless network connection depends in part on signal strength.
You have to connect the Wireless network where the signal strength is strong.
Check Wireless network signal strength icons in notification bar.

4.Try to turn off/on Wi-Fi on the device.
First to turn off Wi-Fi, [Settings]>>[Wi-Fi] >>[turn Wi-Fi to off].
And then to turn on Wi-Fi, [Settings]>>[Wi-Fi]>>[turn Wi-Fi to on].

5.Try to forget network on the device.
Forgetting wireless networks allow your tablet/phone to reset some settings.
[Settings]>>[Wi-Fi]>>Press & hold your[Net Work Name(SSID)]for 2 seconds.
>>Select[Forget Network]>>Re-Connect your wireless networks if it's disconnected.

6.Try to reboot your device.
7.Make sure your firmware is up-to-date.

8.Try to reset your device.
Note: once RESET was performed, all data, apps, settings and personal information will be deleted after initialization.
Third-party programs might be the major probability of Tablet/Phone instable, suggested to have a full reset for the device if the situation persists.

9.Try to other wireless connections.
If steps above were not able to solve internet connection problem still, please try other wireless connections if available, otherwise contact your networking provider to technical support.

4. Now Enable Wi-Fi again. And connect to router.

B. Using Static IP Address:

1. Settings-> Connectivity -> Wi-Fi -> Select Network
2. Make sure to disconnect the network if connected.
3. Now open the network,
4. Select Static IP
5. Now you can assign IP Address

   IP : 192.168.0.2 or 192.168.1.2
   Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
   Default Gateway : 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1

So, you can't connect to your Wi-Fi network at home?

First, try turning the router and phone off, wait for a couple of minutes, then turn both back on again.

Oh, and, if the Wi-Fi network's saved in your phone, you might try deleting it first.

Wi-Fi Functionality

1. Connects over the last Wi-Fi network you used that's available.
2. If no Wi-Fi networks you've used are available, iPod touch will scan for Wi-Fi networks and show a list of Wi-Fi networks in range. Tap a network and, if necessary, enter the password to join. Networks that require a password show a lock icon () next to them.
3. Option to manually enter your Wi-Fi network name/SSID (if the Wi-Fi network is configured not to broadcast or be displayed to the public). If necessary, enter the password to join.

Wi-Fi Settings

1. Turn Wi-Fi on or off.

2. Set iPod touch to ask if you want to join a new Wi-Fi network.
   When you are trying to access the Internet, by using Safari or YouTube for example, and you are not in range of a Wi-Fi network you have previously used, this option tells iPod touch to look for another network. iPod touch will display a list of all available Wi-Fi networks that you can choose from. 6. Adjust settings to connect to a Wi-Fi network
   Choose Wi-Fi, then tap the arrow () next to a network.

When i try to turn on my wifi my Lg Renoir restarts ! Any suggestions on how to solve this ?
