I am thinking the electronics store may have given me the wrong bulb as I took in the housing assembly. I had the lamp, ballast and pcb power replaced two years ago. The bulb lights up and gets hot, but the tv doesn't have a picture. It did when I first installed the new bulb, but then it went to frozen pic and then off with the lamp light flashing again.
If you have house insurance you might be better off making a claim if it covers for power surges, i always use a power surge protector in line just in case. Sounds like something else has possibly fried other than what you have replaced, not too sure but i bet the parts are expensive, sorry i can't help. Only thing i can think is to try resetting everything back to default factory settings, maybe the TV isn't recognizing you have replaced the parts for some reason and still holding the old error code, thats the only thing i can think of other than something else being broke in their.
Hello, it sounds like the color wheel may have failed. Was there any noises, like a high pitch sound before it went out? If the color wheel isn't turning at proper speed, the set won't start up by shutting down the lamp protection circuit.

all 3 lights blinking means lamp has a fault the service manual says replace the lamp. If you need the service training manual for that model let me know and I will post the link as the training manual has excellent trouble shooting breakdowns for that model DLP

Sounds like you've already gotten into the repairs. The three major things that fail on DLP are the bulb, the ballast and the color wheel. If your bulb is new and you aren't getting anywhere, replace the ballast, if that is still a no go, then move on to the color wheel. If replacing those three doesn't fix the problem, you will have to whip out the multimeter and start looking for problems on the PSB. You can get a ballast on ebay for about $100. Start there. The color wheel should be very freely moving. If something is grinding and hindering the movement at all, you need to replace it. That grinding may not seem like much but it is likely enough to keep the wheel from spinning at proper speeds. The sensor then kicks in and tells the brain that there is a problem and the brain keeps the ballast from firing the lamp.
Good luck.

It can be the Lamp Ballast as well as the Color Wheel.
