The hinges mount inside the oven door, open the door all the way, then move the small clips that are riveted to the hinge to the position opposite of where they sit now... this will hold the hinge springs open. The door comes off a set of hinges. You may have to remove the front fascia at the top, and access the screws holding the top hinge on to the frame. Unscrew these and remove the door by lifting off the bottom hinge. With the door off you will be able to remove the screws holding the bottom hinge. If you are lucky, they will reverse fit to the other side as they are. If not, use what was the top hinge as the new bottom hinge, fit the door and use the bottom hinge as the new top hinge.

Depending on the brand, this "may" be possible. Look for a mounting bracket area on the side you want to change to. Is so, have someone help you, two person job!

Assuming these are regular **** hinges (like on full sized doors) as opposed to surface mount hinges (as on old style cabinets), you can try putting a paper shim behind the top hinge. This will tip the door away from the hinge just a bit.

Unplug the refrigerator and remove all food and utility bins from the doors. With the door open, remove the grille from the bottom of the refrigerator. Close the door.

Step 2
Remove the cover from the top hinge with the putty knife. Remove the three screws underneath, then remove the hinge. Take off the freezer door.

Step 3
Remove the three screws from the center hinge, then remove the hinge. Take off the refrigerator door.

Step 4
Remove the two screws from the bottom hinge, then remove the hinge. Replace with the new hinge and insert the two screws.

Step 5
Seat the refrigerator door on the bottom hinge and close the door. Fasten the new center hinge with the three old screws.

Step 6
Seat the freezer door on the center hinge and close the door. Fasten the top hinge and replace the top hinge cover.

Step 7
Replace the base grille, and plug the refrigerator back in.

Yes the door can be changed to open from the opposite side, there are removal plugs that need to be removed from the opposite side and just change all the hardware from one side to the other, change the middle hinge first and put on the bottom door first, after its is mounted you can put the bottom part of the top door on the hinge and last the top hinge, and just make a few minor adjustments.

most of these cars the only part you can change is the pins if your are bolted on you can adjust loosen the bolts one hinge at a time to adjust... when changing a door with live hinges you should mark ware the old hinges were so you can put the new hinges in the same place
if you car has welded hinges you have to bend the door at the hinge or door support ( its not as hard as it seems)

Open door, unscrew hinge, Pull door top door off first, then remove middle hinge, then second door, then third hinge. ( good to take pic before so you know what direction the hinges are facing.
When putting on, put bottom hinge on first, then door (tape it close and in place) then second hinge, the top door (tape in place, THen finally the top hinge. Once hinges are in place, remove tape.
