How do I connect a bluray player to Mitsubishi WS-65313

I was recently given a Mitsubishi WS-65313 and can't figure out how to connect a bluray player. There aren't any HDMI inputs on the TV so I bought a HDMI:DVI converter. I tried plugging the DVI converter into the Multilink port and then the HDMI into it, the image was a lot of blurry lines and couldn't tell if it was even a picture. Is there another way?

Check the connections for firmness. If the converter works properly, there shouldn't be any problem other than this.

How do i connect my dvi to vga to my misubishi ws-65313

you can't, DVI is a digital video source and VGA is an analog video source. however there is a VGA to component RGBHV cable that you can use. the Mitsubishi TV is very limited to the resolutions the VGA output can be. only 1080I, 480P or 480I. HD component video input in the menu you must change the source from Y /Pb/ Pr to RGB.

Follow the color code green for green, red for red, blue for blue, ignore the yellow wire, also be aware that there is an audio cable that is red also that wire goes into the Right channel audio and the white wire goes to the Left channel audio

I do not see any way to divide main wooden box of TV as you can remove front screen and back cover of TV but main cabinet of TV still remain the same.
Check below exploded views of WS-65313 for better explanation.

Mitsubishi WS-65313 65 in. TV will no longer power up.

You should call a good TV Tech. This problem cannot be solved by a consumer. The one thing you might try is to unplug it from the wall for a few minutes and then try it again.

Mitsubishi ws-65313 and blue ray

that is a load of bull trying to sell you a newer TV. If your TV has component video inputs, you can easily connect it to a blue ray player. One thing though is that this TV will not be capable of 1080p resolution but will work fine with 720P and 1080i and at 1080i you probably wont even notice the difference. Get the player from bestbuy and run to the closest walmart and pick up a component video cable for less than 20..

Mitsubishi WS-65313 - Will not turn on

The most common failure are the two convergence integrated circuits part # 267P173010. The two pico fuses may be open as well, which come from the power supply and provide +24 volts and -24 volts.
