Are you referring to the virtual memory or just disk space? Assuming you are on Windows, even after transferring files, the space might not be enough. You can change the pagefile size (virtual memory) or just transfer enough files and even move your temp directory to D. That way the partition/drive with OS will have enough space. Now a days keep at least one gig free there. It usually starts complaining when it gets close to 500 MB.

I cant copy a big file (example: ISO file size 7gb) into my transcend external hard disk 500gb. a pop out message will appeared (File too big to transfer) help me please. Thanks

Please check how many Mb free disk space you currently have on your transcend device as the description of the pop up message sounds like the default error message from the operating system stating that the file you're trying to transfer is too large to fit on the destination drive. Perhaps try copying and pasting a smaller file first just to make sure that there's nothing wrong with the drive before attempting to transfer such a large file.

I have a Samsung Digital Dual Band cell phone....model sch-i760. The message that my memory in the storage is low keeps popping up. How do i stop it from popping up?

Hi, i think the when out put in any application or downloaded any application on the phones, it goes directly into the phones memory. that's why the message keeps coming up.

Hope the phone has and external memory Slot, if yes get a bigger size of memory stick. insert it into the phone and transfer all downloads and any new download straight into the memory card.
The phone memory can't carry too much applications.

Take care.

Virtual memory

Your hard drive is getting to full for it to be used as virtual memory
When normal memory gets used up windows uses the hard drive as memory ans if insufficient room on hard drive is not available you get this message.
Solution.
1) delete programs from hard drive to create more space
2) Install new hard drive and transfer programs to it. creating more room on C drive
3) If hard drive is already partitioned and 2nd partition has a lot of free space transfer Virtual over to it.

Go to Start / Control panel Open The System folder go to "Advanced" "performance settings"
Then to "Advanced " Click on change and set Virtual memory to new disk.
Set maximum and minimum the same at 3 times the amount of normal memory you ave

Uploading song problems

Maybe that was the last file to transfer before the drive was full up, so the file could not be fully transferred?

A 4GB stick will, in reality provide you with a little under 4GB.
