Sounds like the GPU might be overheating or the drive lens is slightly off, you will need to get it fixed and if you do not want to have to send it in you can fix it yourself with a good guide.

Or of course you will have to send it in.

The blank screen can be fixed it is normally down to the display chip getting too much heat, you can fix it yourself or you can send it in and Sony will fix it for you.

sign out of psn and then sign in again when starting up fifa . u will be at the top of the ea servers so u shoudnt get disconnected. works for me . if u do get discoinnected wait 5 mins sign in and out of psn again and fifa ea servers should work

The servers for FIFA 10 were shut down by EA on December 6, 2011. You can view the list of recently deactivated games on EA's website: http://www.ea.com/1/service-updates.

When i try to play online on fifa 11, it freezes and i cant go back. then i have to switch the PS3 off. it keeps happening and i can't play online now
This problem has nothing to do with your PS3!! Its Fifa 11 which is very full of glitches. This freezing problem is a known bug and Fifa or EA doesnt seem to care about it. if you search online you'll see multiple people with similar complaints on EA forums and few or no replies from EA. They havent come up with a fix yet. all you can do is wait for an update (ie. Fifa 12)

FIFA 11 game wont start (PS3) gives me error code 80010514. All other games work fine. Game works fine in brothers PS3. Never had this problem before. PS3 support says they have had a lot of calls with...
It's eiyther one of two problems:

The first is that FIFA 11 is screwed up due to an EA Sports programming glitch within the game - (see http://www.community.eu.playstation.com/t5/Technical-Help/FIFA-11-Error-80010514/m-p/11614173))

OR

The second is that your PS3 is dying and the laser won't read discs. Which gets progressively worse, or so i've read. - (see http://www.ps3blog.co.za/2008/04/10/ps3-error-80010514-explained/)

I'm getting the same error but my PS3 isn't yet 12 months old, so is going back to the store.

P*ssed that I can't play the new FIFA though!!!!

EA severs not there means EA may have pulled them off 4 a bit to fix them or they are having problems so dont worry mate just try every so often. i would say that u wont need to wait long.
