Dishwasher gets stuck on 1 what does that mean?

Well not going into the dry cycle could be a timing issue or a EOC (control panel) issue and will need to be addressed. But most dishwashers these days have a active run time during normal cycle of 110 to 120 mins, and thats not including the heated dry feature. I would let the unit run and see if it will finish on its own, and if I say it pushes two and half hours then something is wrong. A tech would most likely have to look at it, also a power reset could help but thats like a 30% chance.

Water-heating cycle Many dishwashers heat the wash and/or rinse water to a higher temperature, as the cycle calls for it. In these cycles, the dishwasher pauses after it has filled with water, waiting for the water to reach the pre-set temperature. What happens next, depends, as follows:

• On others, the cycle can't continue until the water reaches the higher temperature. Timer Timers don't often fail. But if every other part of the dishwasher seems to be working properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in one place--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault. Dishwasher timers can't be repaired. If yours is defective, replace it.

Go To The Bosch website and get the info on the recall for the faulty controller which may cause a fire! This model is on the recall list!

I have a Bosch Dishwasher, SHU6805UC/U06, During a cycle it was interrupted by opening the door. It was left open for an hour. When the door was closed again the lights came on but the cycle did not continue. The motor did run but no water was rushing. Power interrupted to the machine did not enable it to reset or restart. How do we get it going again?

I had the same problem a few years ago and the tech replaced the control panel. No problems until....last night. Now a different problem.
