Hello Wayne,
You already mentioned the reason for the excess water. When the freezer automatically defrosts itself once every 24 hours the melted water drains down through a tube down to a water pan at the bottom of the refrigerator where it sits and supposedly evaporated by the fan back into the atmosphere. However in your case the excessive dust is preventing the evaporation phase to occur by the fan. You need to vacuum as much of the dust as possible and your problem will disappear.
Good Luck

I know that your freezer shows a drain in its floor but there is also a drain behind the rear wall and at the bottom of a tray that collects the water during defrost and is surposed to drain that water that comes during defrost and then drains to a pan below the refrigerator and next to compressor. The solution will be to clean out this drain that is hidden from site behind the rear wall. I am pretty sure you are having a defrost drain blockage problem. Most defrost every eight hours and over a period of time the drain line that comes down from freezer into a cup like object top middle and back of the fresh food section. If blocked by gunk or ice you will see trails of liquid leaking down the rear wall of fresh food compartment until it reaches the crisper drawers. This is not always the same with every model as you may see frozen ice flowing down ther rear wall of freezers on side by sides. Here is an example Click here=>Whirlpool Leak Photo taken by TechnicianBrian He has been around a good bit and deserves credit for his contributions. Here is another way to make this look more si mple in clip below.TechnicianBrian.comAnd in this photo are several parts listed in photo group #1 were it is most likely running down the wall=>MagicChef CTB1921AR fresh food section. If you still have questions please ask and rate me if I was able to explain this well enough. Every refrigerator is made different so these are examples only. The key is to find if ice or just gunk has blocked you defrost drain. Unplug and then remove the rear panel in back of freezer. We need to see if the water is overflowing the condensate drain tray or if the blockage is in the turn the drain leads down back of your refrigerator. Much more on this page=> Leaking Refrigerators! This is a common tip so I will be placing this post and add as we go new ideas listed in Sea Breeze Tips Section. If you run into any problems along the way of repair please let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze
The hose that goes into the drip pan to defrost the refer is plugged with stuff. take the back off and see the hose connection.A coat hanger works well.Usually a 1/4" hose. Also see where the bottom of the freezer drains into the drip pan. That may be plugged, also. The temp may be set too low and the condenser is frozen up,leaking water into the floor.Just ice stuck to the condenser. Possible that the condenser FAN stopped turning. That will ice up and melt at random: see/hear that the fan is working. If stuff gets into the fan,it will ice up,melt and make a mess on the floor.
When a refrigerator leaks water like yours, it is common for the problem to be nothing more than a clogged defrost drain. When the unit defrosts itself, the frost melt water drips into a pan underneath the evaporator in the freezer, and goes through a tube from there to the bottom outside of the unit. Since the water cant go down this drain, it backs up on the freezer floor, then eventually the kitchen floor.
The freezer drain is cloged.Drain is in the bottom of the freezer floor in the back you may have to remove back panel. Run wire or somthing down drain tube to clear clog.
You can buy a kit from whirlpool. In the kit is a metal tab that mounts onto the defrost heater. It is long enough to go into the hole. When the heater comes on for defrost the heat transfers down to the hole and keeps it from getting plugged up with ice. Part number 819043
Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use
and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater
comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost
drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the
freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.
Your drain tubemay be stopped up
with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at
the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get
dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with
a turkey basterwill usually clear it
out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help

water inside, too much condensation from humid air entering fridge from bad seals. replace the seals. could also be that the condensate drain is clogged. if it's leaking from the bottom of the fridge, make sure the tubing is still inside the condensate pan underneath the fridge.
you can take a ook into the freezer sect its possible that the line has frozen, nad no longer is defrost water going into the drain but rather falling on to the floor of freezer and evnetually out the door
