How to remove message on LCD unable to print

Turn the printer off and pull the power plug from the printer for 5 minutes. Plug it back in and attempt to turn the printer on and watch the LCD for error messages. Check your user manual for troubleshooting procedures. Check to make sure that all the ink cartridges are seated in their sockets and have ink. Check for paper jams inside the printer. Some printers have a diagnostic that can be run by holding down a switch while powering on the printer - again, check your user manual for that procedure. Contact Brother customer support, particularly if the printer is still under warranty.

Press ON button to turn off printer
Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer
Remove all of the ink cartridges
Wait 3 minutes
Plug the power cord back into the printer

Release both buttons

5) LCD reads Hardware Failure Status: Clear, Press OK to clear

7) Press & release CANCEL until the Welcome or Ink System
Failure screen appears on LCD
8) DO NOT PRINT AT THIS STAGE

Lcd reads "check printer 5000"

Usually means you have a paper jam. Turn the printer off. Check inside for any bits of paper, remove the printhead. Put the printhead back in and restart the printer

    Epson Stylus C68

Turn the printer off. Open the cover and check for any foreign objects that can cause your print head not to move. Check if you have put the ink cartridges correctly and make sure that the cover for the ink tray is closed. Turn the printer on, if your going to see the same status of the lights, it will be a hardware issue.
