Try cleaning the little fans that keep the bulb cool, the temp sensor will shut it off so not to damage the bulb , the winning sound may be the fan going bad or not working like it should.
send me a email [email protected] and I will send you the info to retreve the error code to find out why the set is shutting down. Be sure to include the moodle number and symptoms with your email
When it shuts down notice what light is lit , what color and is it solid or blinking. Respond to this same post for assistance and I will assist you with the issue.
it souds like the cooling fans arent working correctly. if the tv is staying on long enough to warm up and then shutting down i would look at the cooling fans
Mitsubishi has problems with the thermal sensor going bad. They extended the warranty for several sets. The sensor is right by the lamp. Call mitsubishi and insist they do something for you. If you keep playing your set, the bulb could also be at risk. I would think your set is covered being a 62" set. Good-luck and be sure to act ASAP.
