I had the same problem and swapped the oven igniter with the broiler igniter and the oven now works. This proved the oven igniter itself was the fault, now I have to replace the broiler igniter with a new one(which is much easier to get to).
FYI: An igniter may glow red and still not allow the oven to work. The igniter has to draw a certain amount of electrical current for the main gas valve to open.
Your problem is with the oven igniter. You have the stove MODEL# so you should have no problem finding the part you need.Shop around to get your best price. Good Luck Friend.
hi thanks for the question just because the igniter lights up doesn't mean its good, the gas will not light, if igniterisn,t hot enough. and a very common problem is that the igniter does come on, but not hot enough to ignite the gas . replace the igniter thanks the appliance doc
In many cases, even if the igniter is glowing, the resistance may not be
low enough to turn on the gas valve. The igniter has
probably gone bad. ($50.00 to $90.00 for igniter)
It probably needs an oven igniter. Remove oven racks. Remove oven floor. Usually 2 screws towards back. Remove flame spreader if it has one. You can see long tube with holes in sides and igniter with 2 wires from rear. Now try oven. See if igniter glows. If it does but doesn't light within 1 minute, replace igniter. If it doesn't glow, you need to check for power to igniter. Should be about 100 volts. If not may need ERC, "Electronic Range Control".
