Hello to my dishwasher got inside small screw and stop works, error i20 appear how can I remove it

As you realized, it is a small bolt blocked drain pump and therefore it is necessary to dismantle the drain pump and remove the bolt. You may need to replace it if is broken impeller. Access to drain pump is possible in two ways. From below and from the front side under the door of dishwasher. Be sure to disconnect the power supply voltage. Look the pictures.

LG- Front Loader making loud deep humming noise prior to draining.

I had the same problem. Loud noises during draining operation. It turned out to be the drain pump motor. The impeller that pumps the water wears out on the shaft, and then starts to flop around creating vibrations, and in turn the noises you hear. The pump is a very inexpensive part. $35-50. There is some work involved to get to it, and to replace it, but not overly complex. Just watch the motor wire connections. Take a picture with your camera/phone of the connections. I would recommend watching the youtube video in the link provided on how to get to the motor, as some of the steps can be challenging, especially the drum seal retaining ring removal and reinstallation steps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cPl22OC9f4 .
Good luck.

Our 2 year old Miele dishwasher (G1182/G2182) makes a strange popping/grinding glass noise when draining. We used 1 bottle of Finish Intensive care & clean with no improvement. Any suggestions?

there is a piece of debris in the drain pump. remove the triple filter from the bottom ( the one you are supposed to clean every week to keep debris out of the drain pump) under that filter and to the left hand side you will see the non return valve. squeeze the tab and pull the non return valve out. remove the broken glass or whatever is stuck in the drain pump impeller. replace the non return valve. replace the filter. if you need a picture go to mieleusa.com, and search for your owners manual. it has step by step tutorials on how to free an obstruction from your drain pump.

The washer shuts off by itself, a message of "F21" appears on the screen. It happens twice last week. Thank you for your help, Autumn Lin

Hello Autumn,

The F21 error code means the pump has taken longer to drain the water than usually time it takes to drain. Here is what you check to see if something is in the drain pump filter restricting the water flow into the pump. I know i have the Whirrpool Duet washer pictured . Whirlpool makes that washer so other that the name "duet" everything is the same
The most prominent cause of your DUET washer not opening after the cycle is done and door remains locked is going to be a blockage in the drain pump. Here is what to check in the pictures below.oldtech2332_3.jpgoldtech2332_4.jpgStart by unscrewing that just a little and use towel/tupperware tubs and catch the water that will come out. Once all the water is out remove completly and check for a blockage

The dishwasher is not draining but when I place my hand in the drain with the cover off, I can feel a current. The dishwasher is still running and the cup and plate picture setting is blinking on the door...

Hello & Welcome to FixYaWasher not draining completely problem usually occurs due to clogged/blocked drain hose or the drain pump not working. First try to clean the drain hose and drain pump filter for any clogs, then check drain pump operation. If the problem returns after cleaning then it is the drain pump that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

I want to open my GE 8 cycle 2 speed Heavy Duty Large Capacity top loading washer so I can see why it does not spin or drain. How do I open it up??

The washer will not advance to the spin cycle if there is a draining problem due to a pump problem or clogs and kinks in the drain hose. Check the drain hose and clear it from any obstruction or kinks. Make sure the drain pump is working. Check the drain pump wiring and make sure the connections are snug fit. Reseat the conenctions several times to clean off dirt and corrosion build up in the terminals and connectors. Replace the drain pump if it is not working at all to pump out the water and allow the washer to advance to the spin cycle. Check the lid switch if the washer fills but does not agitate.

The drain pump can be accessed by removing the front panel. The front panel can be removed by inserting a putty knife blade between the top cover and the front panel in alignment with the groove on either side of the lid and cover.

Push the putty knife to release the clips. Once the clips are released, tilt the front panel forward then lift it off the cabinet base locking tabs ad move away from the washer. Reverse the steps to reassemble.

Please indicate the exact model number of the washer if this advice is not applicable for more accurate troubleshooting and repair advice.
