Stinger b4045 4n does not work

Where can one get a new bulb ballast for the UV801?

The assumption that it was the light bulb may be incorrect. IT could be the ballast or any one of a number of other parts.

Look at the inner spring it gets caked with corrosion, I am trying to find out how to disassemble the whole thing. Thats all I know.

Streamlights have lifetime warranties. Contact them to find a dealer that can fix it. They might even let you send it in to get fixed.

How is the voltage to the zapper, is the circuit ok? Check it on another plug...

Could possibly be a bad switch, I would also get that battery tested out also. If you still have a receipt it should be covered under warranty. If not try sending it in anyway. Limited lifetime warranty does not include bulb, or batteries but, anything else on that Stinger should have a lifetime warranty. Of course that excludes abuse. Check out the website www.streamlight.com and go to FAQ for a nearest Authorized Service Center or send it directly to Streamlight. Address also listed on the website. Hope that helps ;)

No! the last thing you want to do is get another light, if this light is still in top shape I suggest you send it back to Streamlight for warranty repair. Lifetime warranty on the light alone as far as the battery goes if you're getting an authentic Streamlight Rechargeable battery there shouldn't be a problem. If it's a knock-off battery you're on your own. Check this website out www.streamlight.com send it back to the address in contact or find an Authorized service center in your area. From what you're telling me here I honestly think it's a bad battery, I could be wrong it may be a bad switch. The switch is covered under a lifetime warranty. So take advatange of it while you can! ;) hope that helps.

If the charger indicator works i would buy the battery and the bulb and replace them at the same time, as you don't know the exact condition of either. Say you bought the battery and it worked fine for a week or so and the life of the bulb ran out ?. Tricky buys on e-bay.........
