How to troubleshoot when menu application dosn't apear at the screen?

open the screen menu and select the screen aspect ratio box
adjust using the volume controls to fit the picture to the screen size

with the phone off .hold the volume up home and power at the same to perform a master reset a menu will apear.

Please do try to clean touch screen buttons .If this doesnt solve your problem then it could be a job for service.Tnx

Usually this means the channel is adult locked out. Check the menu screen, you should be able to select unlock via a password?
Hopefully it is that simple.

Try to look for the TWC application first... Then remove it.

When in the administrators screen is up with just the back ground press the ctrl(control) and hold down then the shift key and press escape, the task manager should apear, goto the applications tab, once there on the bottem right hand side click on new task, in the text box type: EXPLORER.EXE then click on ok, if the screen reapears with all the icons post back and i will run you through the perminant fix. cheers

when you pick the contact you want to delete..go to menu..scroll down to the next screen apears..its the 3rd one down on the second screen

Hi , i had the same problem when i went to the download site to make my device up to date , a red x apear in bottom right of the screen and everything freeze , i call the help line and they make me format the harddrive inside the device , i format the device by going to my computer and locate the storage mine was f: , after formating the device i go back to the tomtom home software version 2.1 and download the application software version 7.162 and the map software usa-canada version 710 , install first the application and then the map , after that be shure to click device at top of the tomtom window and click disconnected device , after a message will apear with (you can safely disconnect your device) , i whent outside for a try and it came back at normal operation , hope it will help , good luck !.
