Wendy, changing out a heater core is a big job and even a bigger job depending which engine size you have. With that said I'll need to know what engine size you have. Please go to my website and send that information through "Contact Us" and I'll send the information you'll need to do the job yourself. Have an awesome day Wendy! Auto Repair
most lawn mower shops can handle any repair on engine part of machine its the same engine thats on lawn mower , the pump well thats a bit more tricky , what i have done is remove it from engine and drain fluids and send it back to mfg for repair they send it back you install it back and put fluids back inside , whholla it works !!!
I used to work in a dealership as a technician and never once have I heard of them sending a bike back to wisconsin. They would actually simply pull the engine from the frame and send it back to the factory but only under special circumstances, most times they will repair the engine right at the dealership.
