Good Morning Friend,

I understand you are trying to take the front panel off your Electrolux washer, model# EIFLW55HIW0. Typically, this is not do it yourself repair, as there are no step by step instruction manuals. I suggest contacting your local authorized dealer for further assistance. They have been trained on your appliance and should be able to replace the pump with ease. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

You're probably right per error code. But most likely if you smell electrical burning, it's you main board issues if you bought pressure switch get the main board as well, part no. 134640610.

What is error code e21 on model number EIFLS55IIWO

Hi,

Your fault code means extended drain time. Clear out the filter connected to the pump and this should correct this issue. This filter is under the outer tub before the drain pump and only accessible from the back of the unit. Good Luck

Kenmore elliet washing machine, front loader

To open the door manually:

UNPLUG the machine...

Remove the toekick panel (way down at the bottom).

Feeling along the inside of the front panel. You should be able to find a tab shaped like a teardrop attached to the door latch unit.

Pull the tab down just a little bit ... gently ... until the door opens (or you hear the latch click - then try to open the door).

Is the machine displaying a code?

Lid switch replacement

Some washing machines have the bolts that hold the top down situated behind the front panel but you have to remove the panel to gain access.
There may be 3-4 screws at the bottom of the front panel, remove the screws and the panel should come out.
Hope this has helped
