Will not come out of standby, no picture
If at power on voltage on pin 37 of the micro drops low then reverts to 5v suspect memory chip ICA07 (Toshiba 23319016)
No picture No sound
Faulty IC TDA6107q on crt board
No picture on e-e, I.F output ok
This was due to switching chip IC3901 (M51292FP) on the scart panel

Go to www.remotes.com and they will tell you in most cases how to revive your old remote! or order an orignal (which you may have to do to change the function!) tv remote for your model!

Mine was the same, except i also could not access HD Components.
Unfortunately i had to get some one in, as the circuit board at the back of the tv was burnt out.You might have to get a technician in to service and replace the burnt circuit board.

My first thought then is that the main board may have capacitor damage that will affect the boards ability to "understand" the control signals, if you can I would have the tv looked at at a service center for damaged boards and components, might be an easy fix but might not be (new boards), The lcd panel is good that can net you several hundred dollars at a min.
peope break them all the time and a simple change out is worth several hundred dollars, vs a new tv
