I need a removeable filter screen for Daewoo room air conditioner. Model DWC-0620FRL

I bought & had installed a Daewoo room air conditioner. Model DWC-0620FRL It was working fine and then no cold. I opened the front & found no filter screen. The ninny that put it in must have walked off with it. I keep calling the guy but am getting no where. I am hoping you have this item or can direct me to where I can purchase it. Thank you for your time, mary

You don't have to remove the polystyrene that is inside the unit. It is part of the construction of the unit. It is part of the molded construction.

You usually grab it by the front and pull, but there might some screws holding it in.

SOURCE: LG LWHD8000RY6 Air Conditioner Not Cooling Room

Remove the front cover of the unit to expose the cooling coil. Put the unit on and observe if there will be formation of frost (ice) on the coil. If there's frost formation, the common cause is dirty cooling coil. Have it cleaned using an alkali base coil cleaner. If the coil is clean, then the problem is the fan motor. It might be turning slow due to copper loss. Have it replaced.

Hello, I have a brand new AC of that model, in the box with remote that I'd be happy to sell. That way you could have two AC units and a remote. I'm in Laguna Beach, CA.
Thank you,

I have a Daewoo DWC-0520rle air conditioner and the remote does not work. Put in new batteries and still nothing happens. I live in Hawaii is there any place here that I can get a new remote?

Before you shop for a new remote, check the installation of the batteries. It's quite easy to make a mistake with the placement while replacing batteries.
